Progressive Helps Fuel "New Economy" Job Market in Northeast Ohio and across the U.S.

MAYFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio — September 16, 2014 — Progressive plans to fill nearly 1,000 jobs across the country by the end of 2014. Positions include IT, Analyst, Call Center, Claims and Corporate roles and span locations from Austin, Texas to its headquarters in Mayfield Village, Ohio. The news comes on the heels of Progressive's ranking on Glassdoor's List of Top Companies for Culture & Values, as well as its fifth consecutive win as "best places to work" in both Cleveland and Tampa.

In addition to being recognized for its company culture, Progressive plays a unique role in the Cleveland-area economy, which is in the middle of a significant shift in its workforce. "That, and our thriving company culture that lets each of our 26,000 employees carve out an individualized career path through on-the-job training and in-company networking, help us continue to attract top talent."

Positions are available across the country, including Progressive's major locations in Ohio, Colorado, Florida, Texas, Arizona, and California, with IT and Analyst positions focused on Big Data projects concentrated in Cleveland and Colorado Springs.
